This is a superb, detached, luxury modern villa. It is located in an unbeatable position one row from the sea and only two minutes' walk to the start of the fabulous dune beaches. The roof terrace enjoys panoramic sea views of the neighbouring islands of Lobos and Lanzarote and to Corralejo. The many attractions of the popular resort of Corralejo are also within easy walking distance.
Interior
Our spacious, family villa has been thoughtfully and stylishly furnished throughout. The villa has a large, beautifully decorated living room with an attractive sloping, wooden ceiling and leather sofas, a 40 inch flat screen television with BBC1, BBC2, ITV, Ch 4 and Ch 5, plus satellite channels and a DVD player. Extra large patio doors give access to the pool terrace and means light pours into the villa all through the day. There is a separate dining area with a high ceiling and seating for eight people. The separate Italian kitchen is very well equipped with everything needed for a luxurious, self catering stay. Leading from the kitchen is an attractive breakfast room with informal seating. The villa has four bedrooms, all furnished in a contemporary style giving them a light, sun filled feeling. The master bedroom has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom with basin, bath and shower. There are three other bedrooms, one with a superking bed and two with twin beds which share a family bathroom where there is a bath with a shower. One of the twin bedrooms has patio doors leading directly to the pool terrace. The living room and bedrooms are equipped with ceiling fans for added comfort. There are views to the sea from several of the rooms in the villa.
Exterior
The outdoor area of this villa is maximised by being on two levels. To the front of the villa is a large 8m x 3.5 metre swimming pool which is accessed by Roman steps. A feature of this pool is that it can be heated and you can enjoy all year round swimming, as it has an insulated pool cover, keeping the water temperature at more than 26 degrees. Surrounding the pool is a spacious sunbathing terrace with ample sunbeds and parasols. There is a large, brick, Canarian barbecue and colourful, Andalusian style patio dining seating. The pool area is covered in astro turf for comfort. The villa is surrounded by a perimeter wall which gives a very good level of privacy when sunbathing. A stairway at the side of the villa leads to the spectacular, secluded roof terrace. From this terrace you can enjoy private sunbathing whilst soaking up the dramatic and spectacular sea views over to the neighbouring island of Lanzarote and the uninhabited island of Lobos and views across the dunes in the other direction. The pool area is separated from the remainder of the outside by gates.
Amenities
The villa is serenely located in a quiet residential cul-de-sac set back just a few metres from the sea. The seafront is just thirty metres from the villa where you can go swimming from the beach. Close to the villa is Playa Las Agujas, an unspoilt beach with white sand dramatically set amongst the black volcanic lava. The world famous dunes beaches are also within walking distance of the villa and are extremely popular with surfers, windsurfers and kitesurfers. There are several water sports schools located on this beach for the energetic who wish to try their hand at these sports. The villa is situated in the popular, harbour resort of Corralejo. There are restaurants and bars within a few minutes' walk of the villa and the centre of the resort can be reached within twenty minutes by walking along the seafront pathway. A bus service runs regularly between Corralejo town centre and the dunes beaches which can be caught close to the villa. Corralejo is a bustling resort which is based around a working harbour. It has expanded sympathetically over recent years and now offers the unusual combination of all the amenities requested by tourists whilst still retaining a great deal of charm and character. Within the resort there is a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants and there is also a market twice a week. Baku water park opened in November 2004 which is proving extremely popular with younger guests and is easily accessible from the villa. Also only a five minute walk from the villa is the five star Bahia Real Hotel where guests can enjoy a drink, a meal or use the fantastic Thalasso spa and beauty treatment centre. Corralejo is approximately a 40 minute drive from the airport and the Golf Course at Caleta de Fuste is a 45 minute drive away.

Car Requirements
A car is not essential for this accommodation, although we consider that it could enhance your enjoyment in exploring the island. The local bus service and excursion buses are excellent.
Safety
There is a smoke alarm, first aid kit, a life saving ring for the
pool. There is gated access to the pool area from both ends of the
villa and to the roof.
Location.

Always ensure that you have adequate insurance to cover for loss non-refundable deposit, cancellation or medical problems.

The Price Of Your Holiday The price is the price shown on your email confirmation or invoice, and this is the price you pay. For those with young families, hire of cots and high chairs is available. For these services there is a nominal weekly charge and pre-booking is essential. The cost of these additional facilities is available on request.
Booking Your Holiday
When you book your holiday you will have to pay either:
The deposit; or
The full cost of the holiday if it is 8 weeks or less before you go
Once you have booked your holiday and we have received your deposit, we will then issue an e-mail confirming the holiday details and the price with any additional items that you may have requested at that time. A contract will then exist between us. Please check the details on your e-mail and if you have any questions please contact us immediately. Please pay attention to the date your final payment is due.
General booking conditions
Accommodation is available after 2 p.m. although you should at least be able to leave luggage before this time. If you do arrive early, our Property Managers will try to accommodate you. Clients are required to vacate the accommodation by 10.00 a.m. on the day of departure, to facilitate the cleaning and servicing prior to the arrival of incoming guests.
Guests are advised to notify us with at least 48 hours' notice of any variations in the arrival or departure times.
Number of guests must not exceed the quoted house capacity of 8 persons + one infant.
No pets or animals allowed.
Please restrict smoking to outside areas.
Payment
The first stage payment of £300 will be required to secure your booking. The balance of the monies will be required 8 weeks prior to your departure date. If booking within 8 weeks of your departure date, then a full payment will be required to secure your booking. Included in the charges are cleaning, electricity, water, all year pool heating, all linen and towels, pillows, blankets and the services of our local representatives. We also include a welcome pack suitable for the party size. NOT included in the cost are personal insurance and the transfer to and from the airport. If you require assistance on flights, transfers and local transport/car hire please ask.
Cancellations by you
All cancellations must be notified to us in writing and signed by the person who has signed the booking form, or sent by email. The cancellation will be taken as the postmark on the envelope which must be sent to us by first class mail, or the date on the email. The following scale of charges will then become payable by you;
8 weeks or more before departure date - loss of deposit
8-4 weeks before departure date - 85% of total rental price
4 weeks or less before departure - 100% of total rental price
Cancellation may also be assumed by us if the balance of the monies due has not been received by the due date.
Cancellation by us
We reserve the right to cancel your holiday. We will only do so however, if we are forced to do so as a result of circumstances beyond our control and you will be advised as soon as possible. Alternative accommodation of at least comparable standard will be offered if available or a refund of monies paid unless the change/cancellation arises from reasons of ‘force majeure’ (*) Group Booking
We reserve the right to refuse booking for parties of the same sex.
Travel insurance
It is considered essential for you to hold suitable travel and holiday insurance. It is advisable for this insurance to be in place at the time the rental booking period is made.
Before you travel
It is also your responsibility to have a valid passport at the time of travel, and non-British passport holders should check whether they require a visa.
Beyond our control
We will not be responsible for the breakdown of public supplies including water, electricity or plumbing systems. We will not be responsible for the breakdown of electrical appliances, including television, program reception or CD/DVD systems. In the case of breakdowns, please contact the Property Managers immediately. They will use their best endeavours to repair the fault as quickly as possible or if necessary contact the appropriate public suppliers. Nearby building works can sometimes occur, and we cannot accept responsibility should such an activity commence. If however, such activities commence prior to arrival we will endeavour to make you aware.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is maintained three times a week, usually in the early morning. It is a regrettable fact of life that systems do fail, and should there be a problem with the pool, the Property Managers will do all that is possible to have the situation rectified as quickly as possible. Replacing the cover keeps the pool warm.
Your responsibilities
We want you to have a good holiday, but you are responsible for your actions and the effects they may have on others. The villa is situated in a small residential area and the neighbours work and have children at school, and appreciate that you respect this. Please keep noise levels down especially at night.
The accommodation provided is for the sole use of the persons stipulated on the booking form. Sub-letting is strictly not permitted.
No items from Villa should be removed or taken outside the premises.
Bath towels are provided, and pool towels are solely for use at the pool area and not to be taken to the beach.
The water and electricity are metered, although this is included in the cost, please do not waste it.
Please leave the Villa clean and tidy, with rubbish taken away and dishes washed.
Running around the pool and diving is prohibited. We strongly advise that care is taken around this area, as the owners or the Property Managers will not take any responsibilities or be liable for individuals failing to follow this advice.
Whilst we do not impose a deposit against breakages and damage, we do request that all clients treat the property and its contents with the same respect that they would their own home, at the same time having regard to the future holidaymakers’ use of the facilities. Any breakage or damage should be reported to our local Property Managers before vacating the apartment/villa. We do, however, reserve the right to charge for damage or breakage not reported and found on inspection after vacation.
